Before We Knew It

Posted on July 3, 2023

After a rain delay, we loaded the heifers and trucked them to the top of the mountain.

After the heat of yesterday, the mountain was absolutely delightful!

We mounted up…

And, we’re off!

The intensity of the green is amazing!

Before we knew it, we were done. We tried to think up excuses to stay on the mountain in the cool… but had to admit the hay fields were needing attention before the next rain caused more difficulties. Is it just me… or is there a family resemblance between these fathers and sons?

A wonderful family photo. The cool and green of the mountains sounds lovely after your hot weather. Middle England went from summer to fall this past week but will return to summer this weekend. At least for a while!!!

Definitely a resemblance – even in the way they are holding the reins
    alike.
