Fair Time

Posted on July 28, 2023

It’s the Washakie County Fair and the culmination of Jaxon and Lacee’s many months of work. They each have a steer and a heifer to show. Now I’ve never been a a 4H mom or a fair mom, being a Lifetime member of Girl Scouts… so I’m pretty ignorant of everything. I do know how to cheer on a kid though, and so we attended the beef show.

Jaxon’s the experienced one…

But Lacee has the enthusiasm of a newcomer…

And Reagan gets to learn from watching and running “free”!

I’ll get a list from Tess of all that they won, but there were a couple of big smiles.

Hope they won a special ribbon! You, too, for all your cheering!

Wow!! That ice cream looks amazing as does the face paint. A very colour co-ordinated photo. Well done Jaxon and Lacee.

And yummy ice cream cones!!! Regan looks like she struck paydirt.

Don’t know if this will post or not — still getting the error message about the fatal something or other.
