While we should be haying along… instead we’re on rain delay. We’re up to .68” for the month of August already. “Make hay while the sun shines” is a truism. You can’t cut hay if the field is wet, the hay is wet, and if it’s cut and laying on the ground, you don’t want it to get rained on because it may begin to rot or the leaves will fall off the alfalfa when you rake it to get it to dry.
So…
I’ve taken no photos of me doing dishes… and laundry…
I’ve gone back, (finally!) and written down your questions for a new q & a. But tonight…
Vernon loaned me the very poor photo of a bear in one of our pastures… but, still… a bear!
But to make up for it…
a very nice photo of clouds…
Find me here!
Beautiful clouds.
I don’t remember you ever mentioning bears before….
Again great cloud photo! Love your blog! Thanks so much Carol!
Hope you get the hay made!
I don’t remember any stories about bears near your ranch, either. It’s a good picture, and close up. Kinda scary. Hope all goes well for the haying.
Oh, my a bear! If you have written about having bears near by in the past, I missed it. Rare occurrence? Enjoy your posts.
