Birthday Gift

Posted on November 14, 2023

We worked our heifers today and I’ll share the photos from today soon, but I did want to show off for a bit. November is a month full of birthdays for this family and I made one for my sister that I liked. Anyone out there remember macrame?

Well, when we adventured over to Born In A Barn, my sister lingered in the macrame booth. She especially liked a window that had photos clipped to the knotted ropes. It was fairly simple and she finally passed on the purchase. I have taken my turn at macrame back in the day… all I had to do was order some cording and find an old window and spend some time remembering.

I did it!

Best of all, she loved it. Her favorite colors are black and white and I threw in some grey, too. Ta-da! Easy birthday gift!
