Doable

Posted on December 22, 2023

Once again, they’ve issued a winter weather advisory on this gorgeous day. We have had a stretch of forty plus degree days with bright sunshine and no snow on the ground. It’s been marvelous, actually. But, they’re predicting a white Christmas. That’s ok, it’s time…

Vernon was nice enough to chainsaw my pile of corral poles Brandon had salvaged from the corral repair a few weeks ago. I was down to enough wood for one more day, and with snow coming… it was perfect timing.

I busied myself cleaning and reorganizing my little woodshed…

And within an hour, I’m prepared for a few days of snow.

Sweet!
I wish I had more, and, funny thing… we ordered a semi load of firewood from the local logger! It was delivered Wednesday while I was at work, so I haven’t even driven down to see the pile! That’ll be soooo much more firewood and I’m very excited. I won’t have to pick and choose which day I can have a fire. Of course, it needs to be cut to length, but that’s doable.

“Let it snow” indeed! Glad your log stash is ample. Looks like we will have a green Christmas here in W.N.Y.
