if you have Facebook, go follow me at Red Dirt In My Soul, and you’ll be a witness to a calf’s birth! I recorded the birth from home through our “Calf Cams”. The video is available in three parts.
Vernon had checked on her a couple of times while we were at a basketball game. Through an app on his phone and with the addition of even more cameras by Daniel… it’s pretty easy to keep tabs on things. It is early for our normal “calving season” as these are new cows owned by us, not the ranch. The cameras will start getting a real workout in a few weeks when calving season REALLY begins.
We may dislike some new technology, but, holy cow, these “calf cams” save lots of time, energy, and gasoline for us!

This is a great idea the “calf cam” I am sure it will be a great time saver and fun for the kiddos to watch as well.
I get that “critical error” message too… and have been ignoring as well.
Sometimes technology can be other that a pain in the a**.
This almost makes me wish I was on Facebook!
I still don’t understand why this message is pertinent to me.
“There has been a critical error on this website.

Joan, just ignore the “critical error….” message. It is not affecting your replies at all. I get it too.
