I finished up a diamond dot picture today… this one appealed because of the balsamroot and lupine look of the piece. I do like the look of diamond dots… though there isn’t much creativity in the process. For those of you who are unfamiliar with dotting… it’s much like paint by number. A sticky canvas with the pattern on it is where you place the dots… one by one.
This one is about 12”x12”. If you’re interested, they’re very inexpensive and easily available on Amazon.
But now, after visiting the woolen mill and planning a needle felting class, the pull of all the creative things you can do with wool is calling me… and I am starting with another woolen bird…
