We figure we’re halfway through calving out our heifers. We, as in The Guys, since I’m not part of the process anymore… I did go down with Vernon tonight after Victoria and the twins left, just to see how things were going on.
We always weigh our heifers’ calves… their first input into our record keeping.
This one… 75 pounds!
I do sneak a peak over our camera, though… Hard to tell what you’re seeing sometimes, especially with just the night vision, but I try anyway!
The weather’s supposed to improve this week… and hopefully, there’ll be a lot more of these little critters born during our “heat wave”!
Find me here!
I had to weigh my daughter in a similar style as she was born at 33 weeks. Once home daily weighs to ensure she did not loose any weight. She was a LOT less than 75lbs!!!!
Good “Greet” care from the start of these calves lives!
