An absolute gorgeous day… and I was in charge of three little ones… so a few games, some roasted hot dogs, and an adventure around the pond filled our day.
The ice has barely retreated from shore but stout enough that the inevitable rocks that were thrown didn’t break through. We did make discoveries. Lacee noticed an abundance of snails…
Then we spotted a dead mud puppy. I had wondered if any lived in here… now we know!
It was a relaxed and fun time…
