Eclipse Day

Posted on April 8, 2024

Happy eclipse day! Just for kicks and giggles…. Here are two videos from 2017 when we had our look at totality.

This time lapse was impressive…

Then my chaotic moments of totality with cute little Quinlan and snakes!

Today, however, was very overcast. Rats. Well, we decided to head for Worland for a grocery run. Just in case, Vernon threw in his welding helmet. Wonder of wonders, we left the snow and clouds behind and halfway to town we pulled over and caught the tail end of the 50% eclipse.

Even the reflections were mini partial eclipses! It wasn’t long or total, but we did get to see it.

I LOVE Quinlan’s description! That’s exactly what I saw yesterday. Unfortunately we didn’t get totality here in Baltimore and circumstances kept me from traveling but it was impressive non the less. Makes me want to chase down one so I can experience totality!
