Well, it’s National Library Week and I’m going to take the time to promote the Ten Sleep Library!
A few years ago, we had the author Tasha Alexander speak at our Spring Tea. She was friendly, entertaining, outgoing, and the perfect author with her Lady Emily mystery series. Oh, by the way, her husband was disappointed he couldn’t accompany her as he was meeting a deadline with his brother. The brother? Lee Child. Her husband? Andrew Child aka Andrew Grant. Together, the brothers have been writing the Jack Reacher books. The past two years have made Jack Reacher popular with the tv show. So I thought, why not ask Andrew this year? Just like that, he said yes! Sweet! Since our Spring Tea didn’t match with the character of Jack Reacher, we’re just passing on the food and desserts and tea this year. It’ll be back next year, folks, don’t worry!
Andrew will be speaking over at Ten Sleep School (where we can fit more people) and the author reception will be at the library. Come join us this Saturday for pie and coffee!
Of course, Worland, as the main library in the county, has their National Library Week speaker, too. Our good friend, Craig Johnson, will be speaking there Friday evening. I’ll be there! If you’re in the vicinity, come on over!
