Kids. They’re *so close* to not needing backup, but it was still there… They took on every job, marking calves, wrestling calves, keeping the fire and irons hot, even vaccinating and branding! Not much is more appealing than to see these young ranchers take their children and neighbor’s children and help them hold calves successfully and give them a sense of accomplishment. They each did it and I wish I could have caught those happy grins on the faces of the children, both boys and girls.

It’s heartwarming to see the next generation of ranchers stepping up and taking on such important tasks with confidence! The sense of teamwork and accomplishment must have been incredible, especially with both the children
and their mentors working side by side. Those proud, happy smiles must have been priceless!
Wonderful to see those young ranchers learning on the job. Best way to learn.
They are learning so much more than they can imagine, just about “life”!
Your young cowboys and cowgirls are amazing! They surely must have had a great feeling inside at the end of the day.
Way to go kiddos! What a hard job. Y’all have great neighbors too. Thanks for the photos what a life you have.
