Ending

Posted on June 28, 2024

Playing cowboy, once again. We moved the little bunch we branded the other day to the Slope Pasture. Unfortunately, my iPad is full of photos, and won’t download anymore until I clean up some space, so you’ll have to take the “beginning at daylight” on faith since it only downloaded photos beginning at the end of the day! Give me a few days…

Nothing like beginning at the end…

We made it!

Tired cowboys lay their heads in the only available shade… for a nap after lunch. Quinlan, Megan and I seek our rest up out of the grass for a tiny amount of relief from our allergies. The girls went for a walk.

Lunch is very welcome after riding since 5 am!

The adults confer with The Boss. He’s ready to spread some salt and mineral out and about.

The Cousin Crew is thrilled to be done and headed for lunch. They’re improving constantly.

End of the trail for the dogs means a cooling dip in the pond and lots to drink, FINALLY!
So ends the beginning of the end, or is it the ending of the end? I don’t know anything but that I need more sleep…

It’s the end of the last step. Get some sleep. We’ll be here to enjoy your pix and tales of the beginning of the day. The cousin crew is an added bonus.
And I can’t imagine all this with a grass allergy!

Happiness is…doing things together and a job well-done…enjoying the wild open spaces. Great pictures.
