Brilliant Day

Posted on August 17, 2024

Back to the mountain.

The entire crew was present.

Calves were vaccinated up front by Daniel and Megan (supervised by Reagan) and loaded in the chute by Quinlan and Brandon… Vernon and Lorelei were in charge of the first pen, and me in the second pen. The large pen was Tess, Jaxon, and Lacee. It was a perfect system!

The cow work was done by noon, though, in typical fashion, other jobs popped up and we didn’t leave until 4. That’s perfectly fine, it was a brilliant day on the mountain!
