Last week, I asked a friend to build me another little end table. He’s the great guy that built the “wildflower” tables I painted HERE and HERE.
Instead of keeping it for myself, we are jointly donating it to the Silent Auction for the Christmas Open House at the Ten Sleep Library.
I asked another friend what I should paint on it… cowboy, Indian, general western stuff… She said anything so long as it had wildflowers… so the wildflower theme continues! They don’t take up the entire scene, because a detail artist, I am not! But the purple of lupine contrasting with the golden yellow of Balsamroot are very familiar to people in Wyoming.
And a bit further along…
I have to paint a bit more and stain it, so with focus, I’ll finish it tomorrow. I’ll certainly share when it’s complete! The Silent Auction is only a week away!

Yes, I’d like a calendar.
Wonderful painting. What type of paint did you use? I use watercolours but don’t think they’d be any good on wood.

Looking good!
