Happy Batday

Posted on December 1, 2024

We had a quick visit from Victoria and her boys. She hauled Christmas decorations and with Megan, started to put out my Christmas decorations. These visits are fast, trying to cram fun and work in together, and I’m very blessed to have her come over and for her kids to have cousin time.

Meagan and Reagan are birthday buddies, sharing November 28th which was Thanksgiving.

Megan is stuck with boring, adult presents, but Reagan, because of a guest speaker at school, has become a fan of bats. There’s probably not any other seven year old girl who knows more about them. She chose “bats” as her birthday party theme. Thanksgiving day, she got some gifts from Vernon and I… hugging her new bat house like a stuffed animal.

Last night she got to go to Moana 2 which has a bat lady in it… who knew??? And today, Reagan got her bat themed party.

I had no idea you could get bat balloons, paper plates, napkins, and tablecloth! She got bat books, a bat puppet, a bat shirt, and a new “batsketball “. (See what I did there?)

Happy “batdays” to two wonderful gals…
