If I inspire you to do anything, I hope it has something to do with art or… power tools!!! Maybe most women my age don’t get excited about power tools… but, I do! This is the new baby in the arsenal. While the nail gun my brother gave me is bigger and “badder” than this little Senco, this one fits me perfectly.
Not too heavy. Not too big. Which means I can’t shoot 3″ nails with it… but, I’m not building a house, I’m just working on smaller finishing projects.
Working on finishing the trim around my door. Nailing strips onto my ceiling. Reinforcing cabinets. This little firecracker has handled it all quite well, thank you!
Power tools need respect, but you needn’t fear them. Big companies think painting something pink will grab my attention… ish! I don’t want PINK, I want something that fits my smaller hands and is maybe a bit lighter, but I want decent power, just like a “guy’s”. This finishing nailer fits that bill. You have projects you need done? I’d encourage you to get one of these

I’m curious about nail guns. Do you have to use a lot of strength to hold it against what you’re nailing? Hammers I understand. It’s the weight of the hammer and the force that it hits the nail with that drives the nail and you hit the nail repeatedly to drive it in. A nail gun drives the nail in one fell swoop. You only get one chance. I guess I worry about the “gun” part. And the noise.
I like tools as also. I’m trying to convince myself that I should get a new drill.
