The engineer came out to see our working solar system.

It included pouring over plans and figures.

The overflow from the tank is creating a pretty good stream and Indy is enjoying a cool drink. This overflow runs down the hill and runs into an old catchment pond. Now that it’s working, we’re debating on whether we should put it in a pipe or let it run free. We will come back and do some flow measurements and then decide.

Right now, we will do it the old fashioned way, and put a stick at the edge of the water. Next time we’re out, we can see if the pond has filled any.
After our year of struggling with this setup, we’re just happy to see it working!
Well done on getting things working.
SMILE. Isn’t it great when things work?
