Giving the cows and calves time to find each other after branding… we did nothing with them for a day. The neighbors that had come to help us with our big branding, were now themselves branding their own herds, trying to beat the predicted rainy weather. That meant Daniel, Brandon, Megan, and Quinlan were gone helping neighbors brand.
It was Vernon and I, Tess and her friend, three excited little girls, Jaxon, and the two youngest kids riding with me in my sxs.
But, by golly, we got them out the gate and paired up!
We have a great crew!
