Well, I did something today I haven’t done in a long time… I volunteered to help Daniel farm his new ground under his pivot. Now I’ve driven tractor to help feed but it’s been quite a while since I’ve actually pulled any equipment.
After a detailed round of instruction from Daniel, I was on my own! Round and round, breaking new ground. An audiobook and air conditioning and I was set.
It wasn’t much, but a few hours later, I felt accomplished!

Off-topic, but thanks again for telling me about Craig Johnson. Went to his book-signing/reading in Mechanicsburg, PA yesterday. I’ve been going for years; you told me about Longmire long before the TV show came along. I always think if a librarian grabs your sleeve and says “read this book” you should read the book, and I’m glad I did. Many years of pleasure in Wyoming for me, even though I’ve never been there.
