Project and a Half 2

Posted on August 9, 2025August 9, 2025

I helped a bit with the Project and a Half. Not much… but I took pics!

Vernon tore this entire section of fence down this morning… and we prepared to replace it.

Thank goodness for post hole diggers in rocky ground…

Giant gate post set… on to “Rancher Math”.

How many posts are needed for a distance of 83’6”?

Daniel pounds them in the ground and everyone prepares the next posts for placement and level.

Teamwork!

After Brandon marked the saddle cuts, Daniel used the cutting torch and cut the posts so the top rail will fit. We will revisit this project!

In the third picture, what’s holding the level on the post? Do ranchers have some kind of magic?
