Window Landscapes

Posted on January 9, 2026January 9, 2026

Now that I’ve handed out the last of my Christmas presents, I can share.

Often I’ve painted tiny watercolors and sold them, but the teeny frames are hard to come by. I look at thrift stores and garage sales but no way will I buy them! That cuts into my profits! I decided to do a “window” version…

I started this one tonight using washi tape to make the window.

It’s obviously not the same view out of a window, but four separate scenes.

Everyone seemed to like them.

I have to admit, there’s a cute appeal to them.

Everyone got a holiday star, too.

Very nice way to frame small watercolors, and the washi tape has a similar
texture that compliments them. I like ’em a lot! And the stars look like a
    really fun craft.
