Well, it was interesting, slightly nerve wracking, enjoyable, and a once in a lifetime event.

Wyoming PBS creates a great little show entitled Wyoming Chronicle. While they initially show on Wyoming PBS, the programs soon live on YouTube. Go watch some! PBS found their way to Ten Sleep and, yes, we sat down with Steve Peck (and Matt behind the cameras) to talk “library” and our National Medal from the Institute of Museum and Library Service.

Cameras and lights are set…

Karen gets her mike set…

Our turn in the spotlight begins.

Yes, I got a short turn with the microphone, too. I found it amazing how fast my brain had to work to keep from sounding like a total idiot… but Steve and Matt promised we’d be nicely edited…. All of us agree that the “Institute of Museum and Library Service” is quite the mouthful to say correctly!
The final product will be aired in a couple of weeks. Don’t worry, I’ll include links when we get the information.
Thank you Steve and Matt for making this easy and enjoyable.
