Sports season has arrived and I’ll soon renew my subscription to the high school sports network. I like watching the kids, but I prefer to avoid the hours of travel! Lacee and Lorelei are in middle school volleyball. Jaxon is middle school 6 man football with only six kids on his team! Quinlan is on the high school 6 man football team. Unfortunately, the Kaycee grandsons aren’t playing football.
We actually won this game against Dubois, a much bigger in size team with over twenty boys on it. It was a nail biter with three of our touchdowns called back and tied close to the end of regulation. We made a great pass and how the receiver kept his feet and made us another touchdown, I don’t know. They had the ball with 2 seconds to go and their receiver was scampering down the sideline when Quinlan tackled him and saved the game. Quite the show! I’m not sure I’ve seen a bigger smile on Quinlan’s face than after that game.
