It was football day.
Jaxon had a great day, scoring a touchdown for the middle school team. They still lost the game, but it was an exciting moment! There are seven boys on the middle school team.
Quinlan’s high school team also lost. It was not good, but we played against Burlington. A team notorious for beating everyone. They have for years and years so it’s no surprise. Every year we question why they’re in 1A with us… playing six man football with 25 kids on their team! Some years we’ve played with as few as eight. I think it’s not right but it is what it is… and has been for a long time. It’s just tough to watch.
