Remember how we’ve remade our corral? It’s much bigger… made of continuous fence… metal fencing welded into place. It’s fallen on me to paint things around here, barn, calving shed, outbuildings, but when I asked if we were painting the corral, everyone got a blank look.
I thought about having a paint party… I do have five capable grandkids that live here…. Crank up some music, get snacks, and let them go! But they’re always going… sports, FFA, whatever, so I cancelled that idea.
It’s been so hot, I’ve put it off and delayed and procrastinated. This Sunday we’re supposed to get a storm, rain and possibly snow. If it turns into winter, I needed to get painting fast.
Aluminum paint and a painting glove… it seems like it’s going fast… but it does take time! Eighteen gates later, I’m tired. I used an entire gallon. There are more gates to paint and then I can decide if I want to paint the rest…. I will revisit this later!
