We had all the cousins together… minus Reagan who was napping… and it was time to try my Eco Dyeing!
Sent to find leaves to use, it was mass chaos for a bit!
Then we laid them on our cotton tshirts.
Next we wrapped them tightly for the kids…
Then we boiled them an hour in two big pots with vinegar and rusty iron added…
Can’t say the kids were big fans of pulling off slimy leaves…
But we got some interesting results!
Creative and fun. I wonder how long the color will remain?
Looks like fun, I gotta try it myself, lucky cousins to have you to teach’em new tricks!
The results are amazing. A fun time for all and an colourful washing line. Back to school for most of UK. Roads extra busy morning and mid afternoon.
