On occasion, I watch a guy on YouTube called Midlife Stockman. It’s one of those satisfying yard cleanup channels… He uses a mini chainsaw frequently to cut down small trees and vines. I wanted one! I finally bought one!
Is it not just the cutest thing? I love it! My yard is getting a tad overgrown… watch out lilacs, roses, honeysuckle and cherries, here I come!
I have a small chainsaw I thought would work, but you can’t get it in tiny spaces like this tool can. Everyone needs a Stihl GTA26!
I went to work and cut back a ton of bushes… dreading the time I have to haul all of this off. I cut until the battery ran out. A very nice man, who also lives in this house, started picking up all the branches and I let him! A big pile was stacked by my fence and then…
Vernon used his mini excavator to grab, crush, and haul off the pile. Yay for him! I don’t know how many trips I would have had to make using my side by side or pickup.
I’m not done yet, but what a great start.
