Relish the Light

Posted on May 31, 2014

Afternoon thunderstorms roll in and by…

They may hit with wind and rain and lightning and maybe hail, or they skip around us and all we get is wind!  The gust the other day was 55 mph, just a breeze in most of Wyoming, but a good one for around here.  Then, just as they rolled in, they roll out… and leave behind LIGHT.

Light that glows against the red hills.

Light that illuminates details and casts a golden glow.

Light that softens your heart and makes you sigh.

Light that makes you treasure the Grace that brought you here to witness such beauty.

Relish the light…

Amen! and the light and shadows on the fence with the meadow in the background is stunning and inviting. 🙂

We had the same amazing skies here in Alberta, Canada tonight, but it brought us some rain. Which the farmers that have gotten their crops in will appreciate. What kind of birds are playing in the storm winds?
