I wrote a children’s book.
About them…
and this ranch…
and the feeling that you get here…
of continuing tradition…
of history…
of hard work…
of generations…
I called it Red Dirt in My Soul.
I plan to take it to my local printer next week and have them make a few books for me.
The first copy goes to Johnny.
The next to my kids.
Exactly one month from today…
which is our Centennial Party day!
Here’s my front cover…
And when I get the book in my hands…
I’ll write it out for you.
I am pretty happy with it…
though it differs from my original idea…
I think I like this better…
