Ready to Quit

Posted on October 30, 2010December 1, 2014
I had to go to town today… again.
Sheesh.
Seems like I just went!
I made a day of it, picking up my Food Co-op Basket.
Grabbing a bagel and chai at our little local bakery.
Heading to the post office to mail my watercolors and some gifts.
Meeting friends and their dogs… I didn’t leave Ten Sleep until hours later!
Arriving in Worland and shopping and shopping.
Actually in truth, I went to the parts house, co-op, and Pamida.
My house is decorated in Pamida specials… and today towels and curtains and rugs and canned food was on sale!
Then I went to the grocery store.
I know I’ve talked of doing this…
but somehow I thought I needed to share this with you.

This is my Durango.
I *must* own a vehicle whose seats lay down.
The red/blue blanket is for emergencies… the backpack is full of dog supplies… just in case!
Normally, it would be two bags of dog food…
Cottonelle… large pack… no explanation necessary.

This side has my emergency car kit… plus curtain rods, towels, rugs, curtains, etc.  Pamida specials all!
Six cases of canned vegetables.
OK.  Some Halloween candy.  No, we don’t usually get trick-or-treaters… but *just in case*!

The back view.
Yes, we support Pepsi products – canned in Worland, you know…
That’s the case of cucumbers for my pickle relish I hope to make tomorrow…
But to the question of could I fit more inside this car?
You bet!
I’m quite good at this job.
Remember, I used to do this with three kids and diaper bags too!
I managed to unload it and get most of it put away before I ran off to the neighbor’s tonight where we made gallons of applesauce.
I’m ready to quit for the night!
