The Janus Tree

Posted on December 31, 2010January 11, 2015

Thanks to Mr. William Callahan, teacher of English and Latin, leader of future leaders, fun-loving East Annual sponsor, planter of seeds and new thoughts… from you I learned so many things… including a few bits about the transitional god Janus.

Literally two faced, seeing forward and behind… the future and the past.
I’ll let you decide which side of this Janus tree I’m on…
but it seemed a fitting photo for New Year’s Eve!
May the new year bring you happiness!

Carol, Wyoming rancher

Since 2008, I’ve kept this photographic journal of life on our working Wyoming ranch.  I share ranch work, my family, crafts and DIY, my English Shepherds, Bravo and Indy, and a love for this land.  Enjoy this red dirt country!
