Puppies and Panama

Posted on July 4, 2011April 1, 2015

Happy Fourth of July, everyone!

We had to move some cows this morning… which resulted in a late arrival to the rodeo and fewer chances to take pictures.  Don’t worry, I WILL share what I did manage to get…
It also allowed me a rare instance… since Panama now lives up here at the Mills place… I decided to ride by the puppy pen and see how they reacted.  It’s great exposure for a ranch dog… to see what their mom Dally does or doesn’t do… and see how something very BIG and very STRANGE (especially those whinnies) can impact their little world.
Best of all, I got it all on video!
Roll that footage!

Carol, Wyoming rancher

Since 2008, I’ve kept this photographic journal of life on our working Wyoming ranch.  I share ranch work, my family, crafts and DIY, my English Shepherds, Bravo and Indy, and a love for this land.  Enjoy this red dirt country!
