Spring Rain

Posted on May 26, 2013

thunderheadThunderhead.

I’ve loved that name ever since I read the sequel to My Friend Flicka.

This storm brought a little rain and hail, not enough to hurt anything here… and tomorrow I may be brave enough to set out my tomato plants… and then I’ll have to worry about them getting beat to a pulp!

Today was a babysitting and hugelkultur day… photos to follow!

And if you ever buy something that says it smells like spring rain?  Don’t buy it!

NOTHING smells as good as spring rain!

Carol, Wyoming rancher

Since 2008, I’ve kept this photographic journal of life on our working Wyoming ranch.  I share ranch work, my family, crafts and DIY, my English Shepherds, Bravo and Indy, and a love for this land.  Enjoy this red dirt country!
