New Hired Hand

Posted on May 28, 2013

Well, after much debate… and consideration…

We’ve purchased a new hired hand…

Meet the new Yamaha Rhino side by side.

A little less expensive than the Honda, and hopefully, just as tough!

It’ll get a workout around here, so I’m hoping it’s built to take what the ranch can dish out!

Looks great! Kind of like our Kubota but tougher. I loved the Kubota in the summer, but it was useless once the snow was more than about6 inches deep 🙂

The neighbors have a Kubota, we wanted a bit more speed and power… I hope it was the right choice!

We have the Polaris Ranger – same thing, different brand. Craig says it’s the best purchase he ever made here. It gets used constantly. Craig built racks for the back so he can haul more “stuff” – firewood, brush from clearing, etc. Fencing, chores, just joy-riding! You will love it!

Yes, looked at those too. Decided to go with this cause we have a local dealer…

If your new hired hand is anything like my JD Gator 15 years old and 3400 hours latter still going strong with no real problems (new tires 3 times, 1 belt and 25 rolls of duck tape) You will love it. Mine has done everything imaginable except swim in the pond!

Hope so, it’ll get highway miles running to the other place plus be the main irrigation machine.
