Rain. Again! For two days it’s drizzled and rained… There’s a winter storm advisory in the Big Horn Mountains with 8″ of *SNOW* above 8000′.
Rain slows down some work… like farming, but it doesn’t usually slow down work like gathering cows. Which is what I’ll be doing tomorrow. And I’ll be wearing my chaps and oilskin slicker and perhaps my cowboy hat… I’m a No Wind Cowgirl, so if there’s a breeze tomorrow, it’ll still be a baseball cap! I do prefer that cowboy hat to shed the rain… but I hate losing my hat with the breeze! It is so un-cowboy-like! To keep it on in the wind, you better be able to screw it down TIGHT, and then I just feel like the Flying Nun! Stampede strings work, but then people just make fun of you…
Can’t forget my scarf and gloves, either…
The country is really greening up… when the sun comes out, it’s very pretty! This is from the other day…
