I left the fall colors of the Big Horn Mountains this morning,
and ended up on the green high plains surrounding Cheyenne. I’m here with the Wyoming Library Association for our big fall conference. I’m sure you heard about the big floods in Colorado a few weeks ago, well, at the same time it was raining in Cheyenne, too.
Six inches in a week was the total I heard today.
It looks like springtime around here! We were simply amazed at how green it is…
Our opening session was at the Cheyenne Depot Museum. Full of trains and memorabilia and history, it was great place for the reception. It looks like I can’t upload all the pics I wanted to, so I’ll try to post them to Red Dirt’s facebook page!
They are predicting tons of snow here tomorrow and Friday… I’ll keep you posted!

Love the October picture on the Rim Rock Calendar. Looks so much like
fall in the Catskills or Adirondacks of NYS. Beautiful!
I’m not on facebook and would love to see the pictures you take!!
