WyLA Ends and Atlas Begins

Posted on October 4, 2013

The storm blew in and it was nasty today. It has been dubbed Atlas by the weather guys, and it was STRONG!  That’s alright, I spent most of the day in meetings anyway.

Rich and Sandra Wallace were our children’s author guest speakers, and they did a wonderful job, each spoke about their latest books… And even a bit on their upcoming nonfiction collaborative effort about Babe Didrikson. I could have listened to them longer, and I did by attending a workshop they did on turning history into fiction. They are very interesting! Plus… PLUS!… They sat at my table for lunch! How neato!

We’re spending the night here in Cheyenne due to road conditions. We’ll see if we make it home tomorrow. Tonight it doesn’t look good!
