A lightning show of thunderboomers lit up the evening sky tonight. Safe travels, Boomer.
The last two photos were taken by my sister-in-law on her visit last week. Thank you, C., for these…
Boomer was buried with a stick.
Find me here!
I am so sorry for you and your family’s loss of Boomer. I think he must have been quite a character. I believe I remember from your blog when he went missing for a week or so. I felt so sad for you all and for Boomer at that time. But very happy he returned to you and gave you some more happy years with him.
Sorry to hear of your loss. HUGS to you and your family. I love your blog, thank you for sharing your life with us!
So sorry to hear this. Boomer was special. I will always remember your post about him and the campfire. May he have unlimited sticks on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.
Sad to lose a friend.

So sorry for your loss of Boomer. Glad he got to take a stick with him
My condolences, Carol. It is always hard to lose a pet. He was certainly a beautiful dog.
BTW, who is your sister?
So sorry to hear this. Have a soft spot for Aussies as I have one and have had another. Amazing dogs that can bring much joy.
What a beautiful photographic tribute to Boomer

Sending love to all. Give Uncle John a hug for me.
Carol, I’m so sorry. It’s such a shame that a dog’s lifespan isn’t longer so we could continue to love them. As one who has lost many good dogs over the years, I’m always amazed at how each one managed to bring out the best in us. Their love and service to us was an wonderful gift.
Oh such a sad day. Another blogger I follow lost her 18 year old dog and her 12 year old milk cow all this morning.
The love is so strong and the loss is deep when these companions pass.
Hugh….
R.I.P. Boomer. What a special boy he was, and he will be missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to know him.
So sorry Carol. He’ll live in your memories, until you see him again. HUGS.
Hugs to you and all your family. I am so sorry about Boomer ~ such a handsome, faithful dog…working companion…and happy stick connoisseur. I will miss him, too.
This is so hard… I feel your hurt …. so sorry …. He is being hugged again….
I am so sorry for your loss. He was such a handsome fellow. Was it old age that took him?

So so sorry- it’s never easy to lose a member of your family- with any number of legs. <>
Awww! 🙁 So sad!!
Oh, I am so sorry for your loss… I wish our pets could live as long as we do, because losing them is so very heart wrenching… I dread the day when I have to say goodbye to my “kids.” If dogs don’t go to heaven then I don’t want to go either! But God loves me so I know He has a special place for our faithful furry kids! Boomer is there now, waiting for you to throw that stick for him!
Carol, I’m so sorry for your loss.
Awww…Goodbye Boomer. So sorry to hear this.
So very sorry, Carol.
They none of them live long enough.
