Well, today was very fun and quite successful.
I did manage to slop some green chili in my car on the way in to the contest… so I’ll be cleaning that up tomorrow! Here’s my entry. I was all about the presentation!
That’s my sign…and a tablecloth… Unfortunately, I didn’t win… Sara did… She’s sporting her new apron, but seriously… she had great chili!
There were only 5 green chilis… but lots of entries for red!
Tons of items were donated for the silent auction which was set up in one hallway of the school…
Then even tons more for the live auction!
Amazing what people donated! Oh, and look… my photo brought $325…
Our Fearless Leader of the ambulance crew even won?/lost? the competition for a nice pie in the face (on pi day, no less!).
Then most of us went to the gym to watch our high school basketball boys coach the alumni teams… and Daniel and Brandon were on opposite teams. It was very fun to watch, most of the guys and girls had fun with it, the crowd sure did! There was lots of catcalling and teasing and cheers for both sides, it was all for fun!
What a great and enjoyable day… What a great and enjoyable community I live in!
There’s no totals for the amount raised quite yet… but it’s probably a record! Way to go, Ten Sleep!

This looks like a lot of fun. And for a good cause on top of that. You can’t beat it.
Looks like a lot of fun – which is something we all need! And all for such a good cause.
God bless small communities and the support they give to help. Way to Go!!!!!!
Kate and I sure wish we could’ve been home and attended. We know that we missed a great event.
It looks like you all had a wonderful day. You do live in a great community Carol.
