Sorry, I missed last night. The internet has been painfully slow and spotty. I even had a hard time texting and that’s the simplest thing to do… I just got fed up fighting it and went to bed!
I expected to be on horseback this morning. The guys gathered the badlands pasture yesterday (while I worked at the library) and did such a good job by gathering EVERY cow, we didn’t need to ride again. That kinda bummed me out, I needed new photos to post! Plus the fact that it was a nice day… and, you know, I like to ride!
I filled my day with housework, painting the local basketball schedule on a local business window, and attending a basketball game.
Nothing great nor wonderful to post about today… but here it is coming up on my 8th, EIGHTH!, blogoversary! Yeah. January 20th of 2008 was my first post! It was a simple disclaimer, so the 21st is the day I really should count. Read that post here.
To celebrate, I declare a contest!
Post your name or a comment in the comment section and you’ll have a chance to win a 2016 Red Dirt In My Soul calendar. From now until my January 21st post, you can enter once a day. Tell your friends!
