Rainy Day

Posted on August 20, 2016August 19, 2016

More rain.  Not much, .36″, but we will take what we can get…

I spent this cool day catching up on laundry and finishing my first braided rein of my new set.  I’m trying to decide if I will simply burn the ends off of my Terminal Turk’s Head knot, a style I don’t like… or if I can come up with a new way to do it.

Anyone love to tie knots out there?

I’m open to suggestions before I do anything!

No photos yet…

Hoping to build my poppers and slobber straps and complete my first rein before I photograph it…

Then I’ll share!

Looking forward to seeing your completed reins Carol. Sorry no suggestions on knots – though I must have done some as a Girl Guide. Was there a badge back in the day for knots? I seem to have a distant memory of learning how to tie certain knots.
