Made His Day

Posted on October 26, 2016October 25, 2016

Fall causes work: those items that need to be put away for winter, lawn chairs, toys, the trampoline… another round with the lawnmower grabbing leaves for the compost pile… organizing the garage and sweeping summer’s dirt away… there’s more items for the list, but only so many hours in the day.

The little calves need pushed to the next pasture.  It’s not far, and I show up only for the last mile with working partners in tow.

calvesThere’s Brandon and Jekyll… and to the right… a sable colored fellow hopping along for all he’s worth!  I do believe I made his day…

Great shots. Looks at all those dirty bums. I want to come spend a day in your shoes!

Well done, Lucas! And well done, Carol – finding just the right job for a gimpy 10 year old. 🙂

And I noticed in the first picture how Lucas is enjoying the ride, with his head under Brandon’s arm. Reminds me of the song, “Close to You”.
