Attempt

Posted on March 14, 2017March 13, 2017

nowood valleyVernon and I took a late evening attempt at the mountain.  Sure enough, we couldn’t get very far.  It’s a balm to my soul to see this view, though, so it still made me smile!

I spent the day crafting away, listening to a book on tape… cleaning when I needed to get up and stretch… and trying to get my beeswax to melt so I can blog about it!  I need more sunshine than we’ve been getting the past few days…

Tomorrow I’ve got Jaxon and Lacee and a baby calf to feed… photo op coming up!  And, hopefully, a nice enough day to keep the grandkids outside working… 😉

Sounds like a soothing evening in preparation for a fun day with those grand kids.

Some daily outdoor activity for grandkids is essential to the mental health of Grandmas everywhere.

Carol, Wyoming rancher

Since 2008, I’ve kept this photographic journal of life on our working Wyoming ranch.  I share ranch work, my family, crafts and DIY, my English Shepherds, Bravo and Indy, and a love for this land.  Enjoy this red dirt country!
