    Did you ever make Christmas ornaments out of an orange, and press cloves into them…we always did that in Brownies. My Grandmas called them “pomender balls.” We covered the whole orange with the cloves! Sort of hard on our thumbs!! But they were well appreciated and fragrant. I just Googled this, and find some very cute and different designs.

    The ones your Grandkids are doing look a lot easier, and VERY pretty! 🙂
