So… meanwhile… as I’ve been off to Cheyenne and Sheridan… the ranch continues on…
The guys are haying, spreading salt, checking for sick calves.
We did haul up Vernon’s salt shed. Remember his winter project?
The shed is positioned.
The excavator starts to pull it onto the trailer.
We then had to switch to the good ol’ “come along”. Thank goodness Daniel is young and strong!
Tied down and ready for the travel up the mountain.
Once up there… it was a quicker version of loading it. Chained to two posts, Vernon slowly… VERY SLOWLY… drove out from under it!
Vernon went back up and put some concrete slabs under the shed… and loaded some salt in it. Mission accomplished!
