What do you think?
I’m pretty happy with it, perfectly square or not.
One of the reasons I built it, was to have someplace to showcase the very old wagon wheel sections that Johnny gave me out of his basement. There are two uneven sections and one spoke. They’re OLD.
I took eleven different photos to try to determine which version I liked best.

I didn’t really want to cut them… and the spoke isn’t attached so it doesn’t have to be there.

After debating over the eleven versions… I think I like this one best.

If I angle the ends just a bit so they sit flat, I think it will be solid enough. I don’t have a place for the spoke. Perhaps there’s some ancient branding irons or harness or something I could add to the mix to create something cool(er).
Tomorrow I will attach these sections… then wait for something else cool to come along. For now… additions are tabled.

Great use of scrap lumber and discarded books to make a one-of-a-kind, attractive table for your space – well done. The old wagon wheel sections are interesting; they certainly deserve to be displayed.
It looks wonderful with the framed photo above. The spokes look great in the last photo.
That is beautiful! I like the last arrangement best as well.
The table is amazing! I love the colors of the book covers with that distressed top. 🙂
Glue them as-is (untrimmed) in any arrangement that pleases your eye, to a sheet of acrylic and mount that between the back legs of the table?
Fantastic! I think you are right-the bottom one. Looks kind of like a brand.
The table is really pretty
Do what you feel. It will be right.
I really like the table, it looks great & the picture above it is perfect, I actually like it best in the very 1st photo, without the wheels, I’d try to find a spot where the wheels had a space of their own & add something like the branding irons crossed in front of them, put some smaller items on the table, BTW, if you could see all the stuff in my house, you would realize I know nothing about decorating! but I try-
