I’ve been thinking lately that I need a simple way to share more of the photos and videos that I take every day of every week.
The best or most informative make it here… but then there’s the good ones, and the not so good ones whose stories don’t get told. I either run out of time to tell you… or it’s a long project whose beginning photos are back months ago or the project isn’t done yet… or it has something “wrong” with it… Maybe you will see photos I’ve used as well. I make many little videos… and do nothing with them.
So Re-Red is born. I figured RE-Red Dirt in My Soul was too long.
Week in Review sounds like a news program.
I wasn’t very creative, I suppose, but Re-Red is it. A video of ranch life. No captions, just some music… if you have questions… post them. I can use them in a Q&A session I suppose.
Re-Red is also from a week ago… viewers on YouTube can come over here for more recent news, plus it gives me a bit of a head start when we’ve been working to catch up with all my photos I need to download.
I hope you like it.

This was wonderful Carol. Like Joan I am mostly in my house or garden at the moment or out for short walks. Forgotten what the inside of a supermarket it like!!! I loved the colours and BIG views. A very relaxing 5 minutes.
I love this idea! Really enjoyed the video.
This did my heart good. I’m in California, forced to stay mostly inside or in the immediate neighborhood. Walking the dog is the high point of the day. This made me feel like I was out in the country with you.
Good job.
Very well done, it made me feel like I was there enjoying the locwly wildflowers and birds of spring. I particularly enjoyed the photo of your dog with his nose in a mule’s ear flower – a dog doing what it does best, living in the present. The music you chose added a lot, too: I’d like to know what it is. Thanks very much for an enjoyable “outing”, Carol.
Thank you – Loved it
Love the new Re Red. Pictures are beautiful as always. What were the cows running to? I have always wished there were another way of marking ones cattle other than branding with hot iron.
Loved it and got to hear the MeadowLark !
What a great idea. You are so talented. Did your sons design and build
the calf table ? Seen squeeze chutes for calves, but not one that turned the calf on his side.
Nice new idea! I enjoyed it very much, and have never seen branding done that way before. I’m assuming that because of the Covid-19 virus, you aren’t having your usual branding day with neighbors, the old-fashioned way. Be safe.
Thank you Carol, You always leave us wanting more and now you’ve delivered. Great job!
