For this week, I chose a video of Dally driving calves out of the brush and down to the field where we will start feeding them hay. I watch Elsa… and wish I had her back, then I see Dally, and realize, she was pretty good at her job too! Her mom just overshadowed her for so many years.
You might have to listen carefully to hear my “swwwwisss” that encouraged Dally to “get them!”. She would often pause to wait for it, making sure she was doing the correct behavior. My “come here” whistle isn’t very loud either…
