Victoria was here for a visit so, of course, we all went down to see some baby calves and help clean pens or do whatever was needed. Quinlan and Lorelei were along as well, and we soon found out that in the hay and straw was a calf waiting to be reunited with its mom.
Lorelei was smitten.
The boys gave it a quick pet and then proceeded to play some imaginary game while climbing up, over, and around the stacked bales.
Lorelei stayed with her new buddy.
How could I resist? She was intent on watching her brother and cousins, occasionally giving them advice on how they should play their game. I just stayed there… taking photos.
Sorry. I had a hard time choosing a favorite!

Wonderful photos of Lorelei. And those colours. Amazing. All too good to choose just one.
Stunning photos!! I can see why you have a hard time picking a favorite.
These are beautiful photographs.
Yes, impossible to have a favorite in that group. And the lighting!!! Thanks for sharing.
lovely photos and story. Interesting how black and white seems a superior photo for portraits.
Wow! These are exceptional … that gorgeous scenario. So innocent and filled with love and kindness. Thanks for posting these! So precious. ❤️
